Summer Engineering Experience at Drexel (Seed
Program)
The Summer Engineering Experience @
Drexel (SEED) Program will grant you the
opportunity to better understand the world of
engineers. During the week you’ll:
- Complete “hands-on” laboratory experiments
across many different fields of engineering.
- Visit local industries to get a 1st hand
glance into some of the new and exciting things
our local engineers are designing and building.
- Compete in a week-long design and building
competition.
- Meet new people who share your interests!
Summer Engineering Mentorship
The College of Engineering Summer Mentorship
Program is a unique, two-week program designed for
high-school students with an interest in pursing an
engineering major in college. Students selected for
this program via a highly competitive selection
process work closely with a Drexel faculty mentor
in his/her laboratory on the completion of an
on-campus research project.

Widener University
Engineering Mini-Camp for High School Girls |
On Saturday, February 12, 2005, in cooperation with
the Philadelphia Section of the Society for Women
Engineers, Widener University School of Engineering
will host its 6th annual Engineering Mini-Camp for
High School Girls in Chester, Pennsylvania. The
camp is an opportunity for high school girls
interested in science and math to explore
engineering careers in a hands-on laboratory
setting with women from the Philadelphia Section of
the Society of Women Engineers and female
engineering students and alumni from Widener
University.
